MUSIC APPRECIATION

Wednesdays, 3–4 pm, SFC

Join Ann and Lee Strong to explore the 20th Century Era (or Modern Era) of classical music. The era began in the 1880s with “Impressionism” in music, which correlated with the Impressionist art movement of Manet, Renoir, Degas, and Monet. Composers of this era include Richard Strauss, Gustav Holst, Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, and others.
