MUSIC APPRECIATION

Wednesdays, 3–4 pm, SFC

This month, Ann and Lee Strong will present a series on the Origin and History of Jazz, the quintessential American music form. Discuss and sample music from Ragtime at the turn of the 20th century, through the Big Band era, to the “cool jazz” themes of Henry Mancini in the late 1950s. Join for a fun and interesting and sampling of this genre.
